We’re looking for a Videographer/ Video Editor to join the Creative team, to develop the best short-form videos and the best workflows for our internal creative team.
You bring fresh approaches to motion design and storytelling that break through and humanize our space while championing refinement and brand consistency during growth. You’re a seasoned creative with experience in both campaigns and brand design systems, and would bring a passion for visual storytelling, animation, cinematography, and typography as they come together to tell compelling stories.
You will work closely with the creative design team, marketing and communications, and church leadership. You possess follow-through, strong communication skills, and the capability to manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, presentation and collaboration skills required to work with cross-functional partners in this self-starter environment.
•Helping to build a brand playbook for video content and motion graphics.
•Create and own all the phases of video asset development including conceptualization, storyboarding, animating, and editing.
•Film, edit, or animate high-quality video content with a focus on creating engaging video and gifs for social media audiences.
•Dynamic captioning, animating typography, lower thirds, and creating title designs.
•A strong sense of pace and timing, a knowledge for the best ways to grab viewers, and a sense for how to connect with audiences in as little time as possible.
•5+ years of relevant experience working in a digital company, agency, or studio.
•Deep understanding of design and typography best practices.
•Deep understanding of the principles of animation and easing.
•Ability to edit and post from rough cut to final deliverable including color correcting and basic sound mixing.
•An eye for matching images to words.
•Highly proficient in the full Adobe Creative Suite.
•Expert in After Effects.
•Good Knowledge of Premiere.
•Good Knowledge of Photoshop.
•Good Knowledge of Illustrator.
•Able to implement feedback with ease and in a timely manner.
•Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Experience in PostLab.
•Proficiency with project management tools, i.e, Asana, Monday.com, Flow.
