The Children‘s Ministry Assistant works closely with the Children’s Ministry Pastor and supports the children‘s ministry as a whole. This role helps keep things running smoothly and plays a key part in creating a healthy, excellent, and integrity-filled environment within the Jesus Culture office.The responsibilities listed below support the entire team.
•Prepping Sunday Materials (Print Lesson, Craft, PowerPoint, etc.)
•Scheduling volunteers via church database platform
•Monitor children’s ministry emails and inquiries
•Submit receipts in Divvy
•Submit bills is Xero
•Coordinate scheduling and reserving venues for children’s functions (bbq’s, parent meetings, etc.)
•Manage logistics for events (snacks, emails, etc.)
•Maintain the department information on the website through Creative team
•Ordering of supplies and items as advised by Department Head
•Interact with new volunteers (orientation, onboarding, etc)
•Coordinate mid-week volunteers for crafts, cleaning or help
•Coordinate team communications
•Administration of Sunday Services
