The Children’s Ministry Assistant position at Jesus Culture reports directly to the Children’s Ministry Pastor. This role serves the entire children’s ministry department and helps set and maintain the environment of excellence and integrity desired in the Jesus Culture office. The responsibilities below serve the whole team.
•Prepping Sunday Materials (Print Lesson, Craft, PowerPoint, etc.)
•Scheduling volunteers via church database platform
•Monitor children’s ministry emails and inquiries
•Submit receipts in Divvy
•Submit bills is Xero
•Coordinate scheduling and reserving venues for children’s functions (bbq’s, parent meetings, etc.)
•Manage logistics for events (snacks, emails, etc.)
•Maintain the department information on the website through Creative team
•Ordering of supplies and items as advised by Department Head
•Interact with new volunteers (orientation, onboarding, etc)
•Coordinate mid-week volunteers for crafts, cleaning or help
•Coordinate team communications
•Administration of Sunday Services
•Attends weekly Church Staff meeting, Game Changers meetings, Game Changer Community events, and other meetings
•Attends Staff outings and team building days
•Personal relationship with Jesus
