Social Media Manager

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Social Media Manager to lead and execute our digital marketing efforts across social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the balance between creativity and performance, and brings both visual design experience and digital marketing expertise to the table. You will be responsible for managing content across multiple platforms, running paid advertising, monitoring performance, and creating compelling social campaigns that move our mission forward.

Compensation commensurate with experience.

The Social Media Manager reports directly to the Creative Team Lead and interacts closely with Department Directors.

What You'll Do

Social Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Help develop and lead social media campaigns and content strategies in collaboration with the Creative Team Lead
  • Manage all social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, and others
  • Maintain a consistent posting rhythm aligned with brand goals and marketing campaigns
  • Oversee the planning and execution of a monthly, multi-channel content calendar that aligns with social media campaign initiatives and goals
  • Lead social media campaigns around major conferences, events, and new initiatives
  • Provide live coverage at events. Capturing stories, posting in real time, and highlighting key moments.

Content Creation & Design

  • Create original, immersive, and visually engaging content that aligns with brand identity
  • Design social media graphics and visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) based on overall branding
  • Partner with video and content teams to support multimedia content

Social Advertising Management

  • Manage and execute paid social media campaigns through Meta Ads Manager and other platform ad tools
  • Oversee targeting, budgeting, and audience optimization for ads
  • Track ad performance and recommend adjustments to maximize ROI

Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor campaign performance across platforms and generate regular reports
  • Track KPIs such as engagement, reach, click-through rates, and conversions
  • Use performance data to refine future content and campaign strategies

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with content creators, designers, and video editors to align on messaging and visuals
  • Partner with department leaders and other teams to gather needs and support initiatives
  • Stay up to date with platform trends, tools, and emerging best practices

What You'll Bring

Have 3+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing

Possess a strong understanding of current social trends and digital strategy

Are proficient in graphic design and familiar with Adobe Creative Suite

Have experience running and optimizing paid social media advertising

Are comfortable owning multi-platform content strategies from ideation through execution

Thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Have strong written and verbal communication skills
