24
Hours of
Prayer

Starting Friday, January 9 at 6pm, we will have 24 hours of prayer and worship at both campuses (Sacramento and San Diego) that will conclude at 6pm on Saturday, January 10. Come at any time to join us for prayer, worship and intercession for revival in our day.

Why We
Fast

As we step into 2026, we are calling our church family to a 21 day fast, starting on Thursday, January 1 through Wednesday, January 21. We are believing for a move of God in our local church and our city. We are praying that we would be awakened to the love of God, reminded of His faithfulness, and engage the call of God on our lives.

Below is a list of resources from different friends and ministries to help you prepare for this time of fasting and prayer. Take time to plan and pray into the specific kind of fast God would have you do and join us as we seek God together as a church family.

Types of
Fasts

Complete Fast

You drink only liquids, typically water with light juices as an option.

Selective Fast

You remove certain elements from your diet. One example is the Daniel Fast; during which you remove meat, sweets, and bread from your diet and consume water and juice for fluids and fruits and vegetables for food.

Partial Fast

This involves abstaining from eating any type of food in the morning and afternoon. This can either correlate to specific times of the day, such as 6am to 3pm, or from sunup to sundown.

Soul Fast

This is a good option if you do not have much experience in fasting food, have health issues that prevent you from fasting food, or if you wish to refocus certain areas of your life that are out of balance. For example, you can choose to stop using social media for the duration of the fast and then carefully bring that element back into your life in healthy doses at the conclusion of the fast.
