Who We Are

We are a community that is passionate about Jesus and pursuing the presence of God. We believe that one encounter with God can change everything. Out of that place of encountering Him we are a church that Empowers people to Engage our city and region to see transformation and the love and power of God release all around us.

Visitors FAQ

Do you provide childcare at Elements and other church events?

Yes! Our Elements class and Game Changers (childrens ministry) happen simultaneously, so you can drop off your kiddos and then head straight to Elements. At most other church events childcare is provided for 0-5-year-olds unless otherwise indicated.

Do you need to register for Elements if you signed up for a past class?

We encourage you to register for each Elements session that you wish to attend, as well as check in at the door when you arrive.

When do we take communion?

Due to school policies we cannot bring food or drink into the theater. We try to schedule communion when we are in the multipurpose room, which is twice a year.

Are you looking for a building?

Yes! We have been in the process of preparing ourselves to be in a position to get a building when God opens that door. We are actively pursuing it. You can read about that on

Do you have to go through the Elements course to become a Host?

Yes! Everyone needs to go through Elements before they serve in any capacity at Jesus Culture.

What are some of the best ways to start getting to know people at JC Sacramento?

1. Go to Elements!
2. Create Community by asking someone out to coffee or lunch. Meet people on Sundays and extend an invitation to meet up with them  during the week.
3. Commit to going to a City Group.
4. Contribute to the family by joining a Host team.
5. Go to church events like our Young Adults gathering and Women’s Gathering.

How do I stay up-to-date with church news and events?

Our main way of communicating news and updates is through social media. Like our page on Facebook and check it regularly. Also, follow us on Twitter and Instagram (@jcsacramento). Every Thursday we send an email out with all updates for that week. You can sign up for that on the front page of
